What you receiveOne build, one pack

The whole pack, not just a Gantt chart.

Every job ships as a four-sheet A3 pack, a basis of program report and the native files. Everything comes from one calculation, so the histogram, the S-curve, the report and the program always agree with each other.

Who builds itA planner signs every program
"A tender program is accepted or rejected by one person: the head contractor's planner. Every sheet in the pack is written for that reviewer."

Every program is built and signed off by a lead planner at Nexus Project Controls, a project controls consultancy that has planned the work behind Australian subcontract bids since 2023: HV substations and lines, battery storage and solar, rail electrical and communications, water and wastewater, mining and data centres, from short packages to a 14,438-activity baseline. Programs are reviewed the way a DCMA assessor reviews them before they are issued.

What the reviewer checksAnd what the pack shows them

Built to pass the head contractor's review, not just to look finished.

These are the items a tier 1 planner looks for before they accept a subcontractor's program. Each one is covered in the pack, and the program check page says so.

  • Key dates and separable portionsMatch the head contract, access dates and outage windows as given in the tender.
  • Complete logicNo open ends, no leads, lags justified, hard constraints only where the contract imposes them.
  • CalendarsState holidays, industry RDOs and the roster actually worked. A 6×10 program on a 5-day calendar is the most common rejection.
  • WBS and codingFollows the head contractor's template when one is issued, so it drops into their master program.
  • Submittals, hold points and interfacesITPs, long-lead procurement, works by others and handovers shown as activities, not footnotes.
  • A believable histogramCrew sizes that match the estimate and the site, with peaks that can be staffed.
PricingFixed price per program, AUD ex GST. No hourly rates.

QuestionsAsked before most first jobs
Where do our tender documents go?

Files are stored on a server only the planner can access, used for your job only, and deleted 90 days after delivery or earlier on request. Documents pass through a commercial AI service under terms that do not allow training on customer content and delete inputs within 30 days. An NDA can be signed before you send anything.

Is this done by AI?

Software does the repetitive work: reading the bill, drafting the WBS and logic, running the schedule calculation, writing the files. That is why the price and the turnaround are what they are. Every program is reviewed and corrected by a planner before it is issued, and that planner signs the sheet. No program leaves unreviewed.

When are you available, and do you need to visit site?

Working hours are 8:00 to 18:00 AEST, Monday to Friday, and tender-week jobs go first. A tender program is built from the documents, so no site visit is needed; everything is delivered electronically inside your tender window. A head contractor judges the program on its content: logic, calendars, key dates, histogram. Programs built this way have been accepted under tier 1 contracts since 2023.

What if we are bidding the same package as another of your clients?

The project and package are checked before any job is accepted. If a current client is bidding the same package to the same head contractor, the job is declined and you are told why. No client's program is ever reused or shown as a sample without written consent.

Which versions of P6 and MS Project?

XER files are checked on Primavera P6 Professional 22.12 and import on later versions. MS Project is issued as MSPDI XML, which opens in Project 2016 onwards and Project Online. Tell us the head contractor's version if you know it.

What do you need from us to start?

The scope of works, the drawings or a drawing list, your priced bill or estimate (hours by trade if you have them), the head contractor's program or key dates, the tender close date and the roster you intend to work. A sample program from a similar job helps but is not required.

Can you update a program after award, or deal with delays?

Contract programs after award are built as Expert jobs. Progress updating, extension of time and delay analysis are not offered here.
